Optometrist Robert Dearie has moved to Eastbourne independent Barraclough and Stiles Opticians after working at Boots for 22 years.
Explaining his move, Dearie said: 'The environment at Barraclough and Stiles is very friendly and relaxed.'
Joining the company for which his wife has worked for 28 years, Dearie added: 'I now have direct access to the managing director of the company. This allows for a quicker response to suggestions and ideas for ways to improve service for our customers.'
