Deep cleansing treatment

Supplier of ophthalmic instruments Grafton Optical has announced the UK launch of AB Max, a tool specifically designed to treat anterior blepharitis.

AB Max provides a five to seven minute deep cleansing treatment for the eye which removes bacteria, crust and debris from the anterior eyelid margin and eyelashes. Utilising two on-board computers, the wand also features a unique pulse mode which allows practitioners to clear stubborn debris while providing a comfortable, effective treatment to patients.

Grafton Optical is also offering a marketing support package alongside the blepharitis tool, helping practices to market the eye cleaning procedure to patients. The package includes information leaflets and questionnaires, anatomical eyelid and demodex mite models for patient education.
