Desallais and Scotney step up to the board at Essilor

Essilor has promoted senior members of staff Jacques Desallais and Andy Scotney to the board of directors. Desallais has been promoted to marketing director and Scotney has been appointed operations director and both will report to managing director Michel Crombe.

Desallais was previously head of marketing and heads a 10-strong marketing team that focuses solely on Essilor activities in the UK. He has been with the company for 32 years, eight of which were spent in the marketing department. In his new role he will manage the product portfolio, continue to meet customer demands while driving the business forward through marketing activities.
