Daren Rogers has qualified to compete in the World Cycling Championships

Optometrist Daren Rogers has qualified to compete in the World Cycling Championships this September while raising money for the Sunshine Glioblastoma Foundation.

‘I took part in a 312km ride in Majorca and one of the other guys involved thought I was pretty strong and suggested I have a go at the world championships so I looked into it and thought “why not?” I registered for a qualifier in Cyprus and got through so now I’m one of 500 people taking part in my age category,’ Rogers said.
