Diagnostic role for Scott Shipley at Carl Zeiss Meditec

Carl Zeiss Meditec has appointed Scott Shipley its new optometry account manager for its retinal and glaucoma diagnostic equipment in the Midlands.

Shipley, who has been working in optics for nearly 13 years, worked in luxury frame sales before joining a major lens manufacturer, where he worked in Devon and Cornwall for seven years.

On his new role, Shipley said: ‘I now want to utilise my experience in the industry to provide a more dedicated service for Zeiss optometric customers, who are looking to build their practice and differentiate their services through the best diagnostic technology available.’
