Digital Healthcare has developed two new products for use in hospitals, clinics and in community screening programmes.
The Oculab 4 is an ophthalmic imaging system which offers a range of functions designed to help manage and view clinical images.
New features for the system include a multi-camera input. This allows the clinician to flick between images of different eyes or different views of the same eye during screening and examination.
Improved communication allows the Oculab 4 to compare and contrast real-time images with those from custom or proprietary databases or other medical equipment. The system is fully compatible with Windows NT or 2000 systems allowing the data to be used along with other computer tools and records.
A second development from Digital Healthcare is a series of updates to enhance the communication of images and patient data. The new system allows patient reports to be viewed and distributed to other health professionals in a secure and simple way using internet technology.
