Inspired by the fashion heritage of the Sergio Tacchini brand, eyewear supplier Mondottica has designed and produced a sunglasses collection for the Italian sportswear company.
Three different lines have been produced, which focus on different aspects of Sergio Tacchini’s history. The Archivio range embodies the retro designs of the brand’s early days with designs like the STGS1001, which utilises an aviator shape and vibrant colour to nod to ’80s hip-hop culture. With a bold top brow bar and a milled logo on the temples, the oversized frame is made to stand out.
Sergio Tacchini’s penchant for presenting activewear as streetwear is represented through the Fashion range. The STBS1003 features logos presented prominently midway down the temples and distinctive stripes on the end tips.
The Technical range is the most striking of Mondottica’s designs with its visor-like offerings. STRS1001 is a futuristic looking, purple acetate accented frame with a curving one-piece mirrored lens. Rimless except for the attached, colour-consistent nose pads, the sunglasses are sure to turn heads.
