Vision charity the Eyecare Trust has announced a new campaign highlighting motorists' legal obligation to ensure their vision is roadworthy.
It has teamed up with health cash plan provider Westfield Health for a campaign called Drive, which will launch this month and includes both public and corporate facing initiatives.
Results of a study of the vision of business drivers will also be unveiled as part of the launch.
Dharmesh Patel, chairman of the Eyecare Trust, said: 'It seems as though every other week we see a new piece of research highlighting the alarming number of road users who fail to meet the minimum legal vision requirements for driving.
