Dublin hosts European Academy

Eye care professionals from a total of 29 countries visited Dublin for the European Academy of Optometry and Optics' annual conference.

Sessions were held on childhood myopia, standardisation of optometric education, low vision rehabilitation and adjustment to visual loss at the April 20-22 event.

Professor Roger Crelier, president of the Academy, said: 'This event provided a forum where people working in optometry and optics across Europe could come together to share research, information and best practice, and learn from each other's experiences in their own countries.'
