Scottish group Duncan and Todd is to expand its audiology services across several practices in 2018 following a soft launch in three locations late last year.
The announcement was made in accounts filed last month for the year to March 2017. A director’s statement said: ‘The business has ambitious plans to roll out additional related healthcare services in the new financial year whilst remaining optimistic about its core optometry services.’
In the filed accounts, the group reported turnover of £11.6m, up 1.6% from the year before, but post tax profits were down 44.1% to £140,473.
