Dunelm Optical creates new sales position for south of England

Eyewear supplier and accessories manufacturer Dunelm Optical has appointed Nick Cooper to the position of area sales manager for the south of England.

The company said Cooper, who has over 25 years of experience within the optical industry, was appointed to the newly-created position in order to satisfy its ambitious growth plans. He has been tasked with growing the company’s footprint among independent opticians in south London and the south west.

On his new role, Cooper said: ‘I’m thrilled to be joining one of the most respected suppliers of eyewear and prescription glazing in the UK. The challenge of servicing one of Dunelm Optical’s most established regions is one I’ll thrive on. To be able to sell such a quality cross range of frames, backed up by a major in house lens laboratory, is a really exciting opportunity for me.’
