Dunelm Optical offers luxury look for older women

Dunelm Optical has added five new styles to its Celine Dion range of women's ophthalmic frames. The company said the new frames embodied this year's fashions for the older female market - tapping into key trends such as pearl textures and equestrian glamour.

The CD3181 (1) and CD8079 (2) both feature the new pearl finish on the temples with gold coloured metal frames, and take their styling cues from the 1940s.

Making more of a statement are the CD3180 (3) and the CD7074 (4). Dunelm said the deep maroon colour scheme continued to be popular in optical colour palettes, but to add some extra style, a deep brown texture had been used on the temples. The CD7074 frame has something of an equestrian feel - with stirrup detailing on the temples and a sophisticated deep purple colour scheme.
