A review process conducted by the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) to assess submissions for the provision of vision testing services has been extended.
The DVLA has asked all bidders to provide additional information on specific points relating to equipment by September 30. The announcement of the successful bidder had been expected on September 12 (News 09.08.13).
‘LOCSU has asked for clarification from the DVLA of the revised bid announcement date, and of the implications on the timetable for mobilisation of the service,’ said a spokesperson for the organisation.
