ECV statement to EMPs

The European Coalition for Vision (ECV) has addressed European Members of Parliament (EMPs) with a statement encouraging patients to consider their eye health.

In the statement, the ECV explains that some patients are missing appointments through fear or backlogs, both caused by the coronavirus lockdown.

EMPs were reminded that patients will be met by trained medical professionals with appropriate personal protective equipment in optical practices and asked to communicate this message to the population.
