Edmonds & Slatter team gets muddy for charity

A team of 45 optical industry colleagues from Leicestershire-based opticians Edmonds & Slatter and frame company Wolf Eyewear competed in the 10k Wolf Run challenge.

Dispensing optician Mark Nevey and Amy Coleburne, from Edmonds & Slatter’s marketing team, joined Wolf Eyewear to tackle mud runs, lake swims and muddy slides.

Over £3,600 has been raised for Vision Care for Homeless People, The Brain Tumour Charity and Guide Dogs for the Blind.

Nevey, who is practice manager at the Glenfield practice, said: ‘Although the team completed the Wolf Run all in one shade of brown, that is a far cry from the appeal of Wolf Eyewear frames in our practices.’
