Edmonds & Slatter Opticians hosts fundraising event

Edmonds & Slatter Opticians has hosted its annual food and fundraising event where it raised almost £500.

Held at Chamelee restaurant in Blaby, Leicestershire, this year’s event was in aid of local charity Matthew Needham’s Treasure Chest. Guests bought a ticket to the event and received a three course Indian meal with live music, a quiz about the history of curry and pirates and a prize draw that featured donated pairs of designer glasses.

Amy Coleburne of Edmonds & Slatter, who helped organise the event, said: ‘Everyone had a lovely, fun and relaxing night while raising money for a wonderful cause. We raised an amazing £460.23 for Matthew Needham’s Treasure Chest which will be used to help and care for many local children, so thank you to everyone involved.’
