Elle combines classic and contemporary styling

Elle has launched its Autumn/Winter collection with a selection of new frames to ‘match every occasion’.

Comfortable acetates, metal and mixed material styles were said by the company to combine contemporary, classic and vintage styling with designer accents.

Art deco-inspired forms come in shades of rich brown, vibrant red rose tones and cool purple blues.

Soft, rectangular acetate model EL13544 was described as a modern classic in patterned shades of purple, blue, rose and rich tortoise. A spring hinge was said to add comfort while a geometric art deco ornament added a unique twist.

Light and elegant metallic EL14547, meanwhile, featured rounded rims with classic red, black or brown accents that contrasted with a gold frame tone.
