More than 150 professionals from across the eye health and sight loss sector have this week met to discuss the implementation of the England Vision Strategy.
An event called ‘Turning the England Vision Strategy into Reality’ was hosted by the UK Vision Strategy England Implementation Group in London on November 24.
Dr David Geddes, NHS England’s head of primary care commissioning, updated delegates on the recent ‘Improving eye health and reducing sight loss – A Call to Action’.
Peter Corbett, co-chair of the UK Vision Strategy England Implementation Group and CEO of event sponsor Thomas Pocklington Trust, said it was important that Local Vision Strategies were developed and implemented.
