Eyewear marketer and Essilor subsidiary FGX International has acquired Surrey-based Three Hundred, which trades as Fabris Lane.

The deal also includes Three Hundred’s growing online retail operation Red Hot Sunglasses. Terms were not disclosed.

Fabris Lane sells to a range of retailers and optician groups in 20 countries. It holds licences for brands including Karen Millen, Lipsy, Animal and recent acquisition Oliver Goldsmith.

The company also provides customers with private label solutions using in-house design, supply chains and testing facilities.

Fabris Lane founder shareholder Rod Lane will leave the company in August. He said: ‘I am delighted that Fabris Lane is combining with an organisation with the depth of resources and reach of FGX International, which will help meet the needs of sunglass consumers. This is great news for Fabris Lane’s customers, suppliers and employees.’
