Essilor to close Limerick site

Manufacturing

Up to 15 jobs are at risk after Essilor revealed it planned to close its plant on the Raheen industrial estate in Limerick.

The facility serves as a sales and customer service centre as well as a stock warehouse to supply local practices.

Deegan was quoted as saying that he believed the closure would benefit practices across the country and that the firm had already been speaking to them about the changes.
