Essilor tool wins Paris prize

Essilor’s Deep Lights tool received a gold medal at the Popai Awards 2015 in Paris last month after winning a Silmo d’Or award last September.

The Deep Lights, distributed by Essilor unit Interactive Visuel Systeme (IVS), tool was designed for dispensing opticians to compare customers’ current lenses with lenses recommended for improved eye protection, a statement said.

Available for PC, tablet and smartphone, Deep Lights shows demonstrations of the properties of lenses under visible light, UV light, harmful blue light and beneficial blue light.
