Essilor has enhanced its current national Transitions Adaptive lenses media campaign with the addition of a consumer prize draw, with a brand new Fiat Abarth 500 on offer to one lucky patient.

Consumers can enter the no purchase necessary draw by visiting their local opticians and completing a prize draw entry form.

Jonathan Cohen, Essilor head of marketing said: ‘As part of the national media campaign, Transitions are once more on TV. The combination TV advertising and the added prize draw element present a real opportunity for ECPs to capitalise whilst consumer product interest is at its highest.

‘The latest TV commercial is tagged with XTRActive lenses, bringing even more opportunities from consumers who want Transitions lenses for driving. The media campaign coincides perfectly with Essilor’s recent XTRActive launch which now sees Essilor’s range as one of the widest on the market.’

Participating opticians will be supplied with a point of sale pack to promote the offer in-practice.

The company has also released a gaming app in order to reach a younger demographic. The XTRActive 3D racing driving will be released on the Apple App Store and Android Marketplace in the next few weeks.
