EssilorLuxottica launches Helix PMS

EssilorLuxottica has launched the Helix practice management platform to help eye care professionals (ECPs) leverage modern technology and improve the efficiency of optical practices.

Helix was created to reduce the technology and administrative burdens on optical practices by providing one, interconnected platform for booking, ordering and teleoptometry.

The system is initially only available in the US and was part of EssilorLuxottica’s strategy to offer a broader portfolio of services that improved the eye care experience for patients.

Fabrizio Uguzzoni, president of professional solutions at EssilorLuxottica in North America, said: ‘There is a staggering amount of new practice technology available today, which is incredible for the eye care industry, but also really time-consuming for ECPs who are juggling multiple platforms, systems, invoices and service reps.

'With Helix, we will completely reimagine the way ECPs can leverage modern technology to run their practices without the headaches we hear about so often.’
