Eternal City revisited for CET

At the start of this year, Optician reported on a new CET programme being developed for the late spring to be held in Rome. Based on a similar model to some of the US CET programmes, the idea was to run education and training alongside leisure activities in a holiday location.

Organiser of the event, Alan Currie of Ukita, explains: 'Undertaking CET these days has all the usual options. But the idea of UK practitioners having a weekend away to learn is not so usual, although long haul holidays with the odd lecture is not unknown.
