An ambitious study on the attitudes to eye care of Europe's over-40s is featured in this issue.
The previously unpublished research, which details the daily problems of presbyopes many of whom struggle to complete important tasks such as reading medicine bottles and reading mobile phone messages - was commissioned by Bausch & Lomb and it is hoped to get coverage for its results in national newspapers later this month.
