
An online conference jointly hosted by the University of Essex and Cerium Visual Technologies will take place on November 14.
The event will explore the latest research on colour in the prevention of visual discomfort and has been designed for optometrists and orthoptists.
Speakers from the US, Brazil, Canada and the UK will discuss the physiology of colour, neurological effects of coloured filters and the differential diagnosis of the visual stress that coloured filters are designed to relieve.
Speakers included Dr Olivier Penacchio from the University of St Andrews, Dr Sarah Haigh from the University of Nevada and Dr Gordon Plant from University College in London.
