Polaroid Eyewear highlights importance of protecting eyes from UV rays

Polarised lens pioneer, Polaroid Eyewear, last week hosted a special pop-up interactive installation on London’s Southbank to highlight the importance of protecting eyes from UV rays.

The Powered by Polaroid installation, pictured, replicated the shape and colour of the brand’s logo. Visitors were able to try new eyewear collections, test the polarised lenses and enjoy rainbow-coloured ice cream.

The installation will now travel to Rome, having already stopped in Madrid and Stockholm.

The company has also released the UV Mobile app for iOS, Apple Watch and Android platforms, shown inset. The new app has been designed for parents to let them know of the latest UV indexes.
