Fabris Lane teams up with William Morris

Fabris Lane and William Morris Eyewear enter partnership.

Fab LaneFabris Lane and William Morris Eyewear have entered into a joint venture partnership which enables William Morris to supply Fabris Lane, Ben Sherman and Fat Face frames to optical practices.

The partnership aims to capitalise on Fabris Lane's design, marketing and logistics, and William Morris's experience of the UK market and its nationwide sales team.

'This partnership will bring to opticians the kind of product they need to offer their customers in today's market,' said Tim Downes, Fabris Lane managing director, who pointed out its £1m annual promotional spend. 'We are launching this venture in a tough market, but we are confident that we have the right product, at the right price, together with generous margin for opticians within the pricing structure.'

Robert Morris, owner of William Morris, said: 'It is exactly this kind of high profile positioning that independents have been calling for from their suppliers. The combination of our two companies' skill sets is a great formula for success.'
