Face a Face introduces two new ophthalmic styles

French eyewear manufacturer Face a Face has introduced two new ophthalmic styles that have taken their inspiration from artists.

The brand’s Bocca collection was originally inspired by Salvador Dali’s Mae West lips sofa and began life as limited heart-shaped sunglass for Valentine’s Day, with long leg-shaped temples finished off with shoes. Since then, the Bocca range has grown considerably as one of the brand’s best-selling collections.

The latest model in the Bocca portfolio is Walk 2, a deep squared off acetate style with slim temples featuring boot detailing. The gold-coloured metal bridge contrasts with a range of finishes, including single colour mattes and glossy transparent textures.

The Lewit 3 (pictured below) style takes its name from the American conceptual artist Sol LeWitt.

His three-dimensional creations inspired Face a Face designer Pascal Jaulent to create a ‘frame in frame’ with inner contours in tones of cherry red, plum and sky blue, contrasting against polished gold out elements.
