Autumn saw Ørgreen Optics announce the launch of its second tier of the Minimal Vintage Collection, The Sequel, which retains the company’s commitment to minimalist design while adding a vintage feel through experimenting with acetate.
Five new designs – four for women and one for men – have joined the collection, freshening it up and offering more variety.
Jose for men exhibits a square frame front with a low bridge and pronounced pads.
The whole frame is made from acetate and allows an appreciation of the metal detailing inside the temples, which tamper down before becoming fallen tips. It comes in seven colourways.
Michelle (above) is one of the new models for women, displaying a cat eye frame and bridge that pop out of the design through the clever use of colour contrast. Broad hinges slide into the temples, slimming as they go. It comes in five colour options.
