Fellowship scheme

Contact lens educators are being offered the chance to join the International Association of Contact Lens Educators' (IACLE) fellowship scheme. The organisation's fellowship exam, held every two years, will next take place in November 2013 and successful candidates can then apply to become fellows of IACLE and use the affix FIACLE. All IACLE members are eligible to sit the exam but must serve a minimum of 12 months before becoming fellows. President Dr Shehzad Naroo (pictured) said: 'Joining now offers the best route for educators to enjoy a full year of membership benefits, prepare for the fellowship exam and then apply to add FIACLE after their names.'
