Field screeners increase speed

New from Henson are two visual field analysers. The manufacturer said the new devices would revolutionise screening and threshold testing with fastest ever results and increased sensitivity and specificity.

The Henson 7000 portable screener was said to deliver on the key requirements of any visual field test screener - fast testing and patient throughput. On the device, Henson product line manager Jaquie Finn said: 'Our scientists have, for the first time, achieved the impossible and delivered elements that were previously mutually exclusive: sensitivity, specificity and speed. The unique multiple-stimulus test screens for defects in 30 seconds, making it the most practical and affordable screener on the market.'
