There is a new version of the Henson visual field analyser specifically targeted at practitioners who undertake domiciliary visits and for use in smaller practices.

Designed and manufactured in Croydon, Surrey, the new Henson 7000 is a more compact model than its sister models, the Henson 5000 and the Henson 6000, yet still performs all central field tests.

'Weight ease of use, performance and speed of operation have all influenced the design of this portable and easy to use central field analyser. It provides speed without compromising accuracy,' said Barry Dibble, managing director of distributors Weco UK.

New clinical considerations have been incorporated, with the new threshold algorithm and automatic measurement of patient response time, significant in the detection and monitoring of glaucoma.
