Fight for Sight Speaker Network celebrates first anniversary

Fight for Sight is celebrating the first anniversary of its Speaker Network which was established last October to provide speakers to deliver talks on a range of  sight related topics to the public, patients and eye care professionals.

Julian Jackson, senior advisor to Fight for Sight, said the Speaker Network had now grown to 110 experts living up to the organisation’s catchline, revealing the science behind sight. ‘It is a unique network which I strongly believe can reveal the science behind sight in an enthusing, informative and inspiring way that will underline the ingenuity and creativity of eye research as well as highlight the critical need to continue to fund this area of medical research. Sight is the one sense that people most fear losing.’
