Fledgling British eyewear brand Cambridge Spectacle Company has appointed former JPMorgan and Credit Suisse banker Aidan Stevens as chief financial officer to oversee and manage the eyewear brand’s financial direction as it expands.
The company said Stevens joined the company at a time when it was cementing retail partnerships with leading opticians and increasing marketing spend in order to raise brand awareness. It also recently opened a £300,000 funding round, of which half had already been secured.
Cambridge Spectacle Company CEO Ahmed Ejaz said: ‘I am delighted to appoint Aidan as our CFO. He has such a wide breadth of financial experience and we’re thrilled to have someone so talented on board.’
