Finding a good solution

Acuvue Revitalens is Johnson and Johnson’s new multi-purpose contact lens solution and the latest addition to its portfolio.

It was developed in cooperation with microbiologists and contact lens material experts, along with input from more than 600 ECPs. The formula uses ‘dual-disinfecting technology to deliver peroxide quality broad spectrum disinfection, while being clinically shown to help deliver all-day comfort’, said the company. It claimed the solution kills ‘more than 99.9% of both forms of acanthamoeba’ and can provide sustained disinfection in the lens case, even after partial evaporation.

Revitalens will come in various sized bottles and will be available to UK markets in September.
