New Evin frame fuses wood, buffalo horn and Japanese beta-titanium in a Clubmaster-inspired silhouette

Danish eyewear manufacturer Fleye has extended its Exclusive capsule collection with the launch of the Evin ophthalmic frame.

The new handmade style has fused modern and retro elements, with buffalo horn, wood and Japanese beta-titanium on show within a Clubmaster-inspired silhouette.

Woods used include Ebony and Maple, while the buffalo horn shows deep textures. ‘I am drawn towards classic 1950s and 1960s fashion, but at the same time modern innovations fascinate me deeply,’ said Fleye chief designer Annette Estø.

Last month the Exclusive collection won the Eyewear of the Year award at the IOFT trade exhibition in Tokyo and an iF product design award earlier this year.
