Bausch+Lomb has made its airline-friendly Biotrue Flight Packs available in the UK and Ireland.
The Biotrue Flight Pack contains two 60ml bottles of Biotrue, two contact lens cases, a clear plastic zip bag and instructions.
Nichola Menzel, professional relations manager for Northern Europe, said the pack offered wearers the opportunity to reduce the number and volume of bottles needed to be carried around while travelling. It also allowed patients to care for their lenses effectively allowing them to enjoy the benefit of the comfort provided by Biotrue.
'The Flight Pack also offers eye care practitioners the opportunity to increase their sales by providing customers with on-the-go lens care at the busiest time of year for travel products,' said Menzel.
Biotrue is the latest solution in the B+L family of lens care products. The firm claimed the solution had exceptional disinfectant properties. It works by matching the pH of healthy tears, uses a lubricant found in the eye and supports beneficial tear proteins.
