The Federation of Manufacturing Opticians attended the opening of distribution and courier service provider DX's new 35,000 sq ft north London facility that handles thousands of optical parcels daily.

The Federation of Manufacturing Opticians attended the opening of distribution and courier service provider DX's new 35,000 sq ft north London facility that handles thousands of optical parcels daily.

As an FMO-preferred service, members enjoy preferential rates for using DX. The facility, near Staples Corner, is an investment of £750,000 and was officially opened by the FMO's Malcolm Polley and Jeremy Dawe of the US Embassy.

The centre, the fourth largest in DX's network, handles some 45,000 mail and parcel items per night.
