Fodo launches criminal record checks service

A criminal record checks service has been launched by the Federation of Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians (Fodo) after it partnered with Vero Screening.

Alan Tinger, director at Fodo, said: ‘Vero Screening’s platform will help members save time when undertaking background checks. It will also save many [members] money compared to what they pay today.

'Some members will make their own arrangements, so we designed our cost of checks guide to help everybody shop around and get the service that works for them.’

Fodo said Vero gave its members quick and easy access to UK criminal record checks for basic and enhanced disclosures at a discounted
rate.
