Former Cantor & Nissel director honoured

Former director of contact lens firm Cantor & Nissel, Caryl Billingham, was included in this month’s Queen’s birthday honours List.

She has been awarded an MBE for services to the community in Brackley, Northamptonshire, having combined her work with service on the local town and district councils as well as numerous local organisations and charities.

The company’s long-serving finance and administration director has been retired for five years but remained in touch with the company.

‘It gives David Cantor great pleasure to announce to all friends and colleagues in the contact lens industry, and many will remember Caryl who was with Cantor & Nissel for 34 years, that Caryl was awarded the MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List last week,’ a spokesperson said.
