As has been patently obvious from even a glance at this magazine over the past year or two, attempts to influence the progression of myopia against the backdrop of ever-increasing prevalence of the condition have been the focus of many CET and clinical articles. As the subject gains wider public recognition, a good knowledge of this subject is likely to play some role in all of our working lives for years to come.
Professor James Wolffsohn, Associate Pro-Vice Chancellor and Professor of Optometry in the optometry department of Life and Health Sciences at Aston University, is keen for Optician readers to help to develop a snapshot of what is being practised out there.
