Glasgow connects with profession

Glasgow is hosting an optical weekend from September 4-6 with a university reunion, an Eyecare 3000 conference and a dry eye event.

Saturday sees the first Opticians Reconnected event at which past graduates are invited to a buffet dinner and drinks at the new Saltire Centre at Glasgow Caledonian University. The event is free and includes an optional tour of the university's eye clinic.

On Sunday the Eyecare 3000 - Contact Lens and Anterior Eye Day will be hosted by CIBA Vision, CooperVision, Johnson & Johnson and Scotlens. Up to eight CET points are available and speakers come from as far afield as New Zealand and the US.
