An office move by the General Optical Council to new premises in Farringdon, London, was expected to be completed by Tuesday December 1.
Staff will be moving across between Friday November 27 and November 30, during which time the office will be closed. Telephone support will be unavailable during the move, and the MyGOC and MyCET sections of the GOC website will be closed.
Samantha Peters, GOC chief executive and registrar, said the move ‘would bring enormous benefits to the organisation and our ability to protect the public’.
The GOC’s new office will also be the venue for hearings, Council meetings and in-house training.
