The General Optical Council (GOC) is looking to recruit a new registrant member to its council.
The role will start on 1 January next year and will involve working with the council to set the organisation’s strategic direction and hold the executive to account.
GOC chair Gareth Hadley said: ‘Joining the GOC Council represents a tremendous opportunity to help shape the future of the optical professions.’ The salary will be £13,000 for two to three days a month. Full details are on the GOC website.
