Grafton Optical: Complete assessment

Grafton Optical has launched SBM Sistemi’s DSLC200 slit lamp imaging module and DEM100 dry eye module, which the supplier said transformed a slit lamp into a complete dry eye assessment tool.

Combined, the devices provide integrated software that included a questionnaire and symptomatology test with traffic light style reports of results. The company highlighted the DEM100 was also compatible with most slit lamps manufactured by other suppliers.

The DSLC200 featured a 3.1 megapixel camera that Grafton Optical said provided high quality images and videos. Instead of being mounted to the slit lamp eye piece, the DSLC200 used an image splitter fitted between the eye pieces and magnification optics to enable the user to use the eye pieces normally.
