A musical based on actress Gwyneth Paltrow's legal battle with a skiing optometrist earlier this year will debut in London on December 13.
Retired optometrist Terry Sanderson filed a $3.1m suit after claiming a collision with Paltrow on a Utah ski slope in 2016 left him with a concussion, four broken ribs and a brain injury.
The two-week televised trial, which Paltrow won, became a viral hit, with clips from Paltrow’s testimony turned into memes.
‘Gwyneth goes skiing’ by Awkward Productions will star Linus Karp as Paltrow and Joseph Martin as Sanderson with music from singer and songwriter Leland.
The show at London’s Pleasance Theatre will run for 10 days with audience members participating as the jury.
