Haag-Streit UK has launched its fourth annual Slit Lamp Imaging Competition for 2022 for eye care professionals to showcase their slit lamp imaging skills.
The ophthalmic equipment supplier will award three entrants for the best slit lamp image based on image quality, technical execution and disease interest.
Eye care professionals could win prizes such as a Sony Alpha 7 IV Kit, Nikon Z fc Double Zoom Kit, and the 20L Peak Design Everyday Backpack 20L, and the winner will be featured in an ophthalmic journal.
Last year’s winner was Dmitrii Samsonov from the Irkutsk branch of the S Fyodorov Federal State Institute of Ophthalmic Microsurgery in Russia, with his image named ‘Gentle Touch – post-traumatic vitreous prolapse with corneal fixation’. Second place was awarded to Utpal Sarkar, Disha Eye Hospital, and Seraina Tanno, from Augenklinik Luzerner, won third place.
