Haag-Streit UK has reported record sales of its slit-lamp imaging systems and the Heidelberg HRT3 at Optrafair last month.
The company's stand reflected the segment areas into which its products fall, such as glaucoma, cataract, retinal and refractive.
The orthoptic segment was represented by a shop which, according to Haag-Streit, proved popular with visitors as it enabled them to purchase items at special prices and take them away with them.
A new addition this year was the inclusion of the 'perfect consultancy room', to enable visitors to visualise how they could work with the equipment in their practice.
'Despite a reduced number of delegates attending the show, we have had a very successful Optrafair,' said Dean Johnson, sales and marketing manager.
