Wiltshire practice group Haine & Smith supports schools sports awards

Pupils from All Cannings Primary School, near Devizes in Wilshire have been awarded trophies in recognition of their sporting achievements over the Summer term thanks to support from local opticians, Haine & Smith.

A celebration assembly to recognise pupils and present the accolades to the winners of the most improved players award was attended by Giles Smith (centre), Partner at Haine & Smith. Pictured seated left to right are the under nines category winners, Imogen Maundrell (9) and Jonty Elliott (8). In the back row are Toby Harper (11) and Poy Smith (11) who received the awards in the under elevens category. All Cannings' headteacher, Richard Borman, said: ‘We are very proud of all the winners, who had to overcome some stiff competition. We would like to thank Haine & Smith for their continued support of this event.’

Haine & Smith conduct around 40,000 eye examinations each year in the Wiltshire region through 20 practices.
